Diana Periton Co-Editor of ‘Best New Journal’ Award

Diana Periton, Senior Lecturer in the School of Architecture, is founding co-editor of Architecture and Culture, the journal of the Architectural Humanities Research Association, or AHRA, launched in November 2013.  In January 2015, ‘Architecture and Culture’ was given the ‘Best New Journal’ award by the Council of Editors of Learned Journals (CELJ) at their annual meeting in Vancouver, Canada. 

 "With its inclusive and multi-disciplinary philosophy, Architecture and Culture stands as an innovative journal that will continue to publish work that informs, surprises, and enriches its field”, declared the award’s judges.  Diana’s co-editors are Suzanne Ewing, Edinburgh University and Igea Troiani, Oxford Brookes.
