Event Description

Aimed at professional architects, planners, urban designers and undergraduates studying in any of these fields, this event will stimulate discussions about the Government’s ‘Big Society’ and localism agenda, and what this means for the built environment community. It will also explore how quality of design in the built environment can be retained during times of austerity.

Keynote speakers include RIBA President Elect Angela Brady who will outline her views for the industry in the year ahead. Chris Brown, Chief Executive of Igloo Regeneration, will provide an overview of how to achieve design quality in a challenging commercial world.
