Duncan Roberts Open Lecture

'Building small timber structures in interesting places'

Duncan Roberts was trained by Walter Segal and has been teaching the Segal Method of self-build all over the country for many years including several flagship affordable housing projects. He has recently completed a community project to build energy efficient, adaptable rural housing on the island of Lindisfarne. Duncan has taught at the Centre for Alternative Technology for many years on the timber frame self-build short course, which was based on the pioneering designs of Walter Segal.
